1. Opening screw
To enhance the sealing effect of the gearbox, water glass or sealant is usually applied to the dividing surface of the box during assembly. Therefore, it is often difficult to open the cover during disassembly due to tight bonding. Therefore, 1-2 screw holes need to be machined at appropriate positions on the connecting flange of the box cover, and cylindrical or flat opening screws are used to screw in the opening box. After turning the opening box screws, the upper box cover can be lifted up; Small gearboxes can also be opened without the need for opening screws. Simply use a screwdriver to pry open the box cover when opening, and note that the size of the opening screw can be the same as the flange connection bolt.
2. Oil level condition
Check the height of the oil level in the oil tank of the reducer and regularly maintain an appropriate amount of oil in the tank, usually in a locations of the casing where the oil level is relatively stable and easy to observe; And install an oil level indicator.
3. Inspection hole
To check the meshing of transmission parts and inject lubricating oil into the gearbox, it is necessary to set inspection holes at appropriate positions in the gearbox housing; The inspection hole should be located at the top of the upper box cover where the gear meshing part can be directly observed; The cover plate of the inspection hole is usually fixed to the box cover with screws.
4. Positioning sales
To ensure the accuracy of the bearing seat hole manufacturing process during each disassembly and assembly of the gearbox cover, positioning pins should be installed on the connecting flange between the gearbox cover and the gearbox seat before precision machining the bearing holes. Placed on the longitudinal connection flanges on both sides of the gearbox body and symmetrically arranged, the box body should be symmetrically arranged to avoid incorrect installation.
5. Bearing cover
In order to fix the axial position of the shaft components and withstand axial loads, the two ends of the bearing seat hole need to be sealed with bearing covers: flange type and embedded type; The hexagonal bolt is used to fix it on the box body, and the bearing cover at the outward extending shaft is a through-hole with a sealing device installed inside. The advantage of the flange type bearing cover is that it is easy to disassemble and adjust the bearing, but compared with the embedded bearing cover, it has more parts, larger size, and uneven appearance.
6. Oil drain plug
When changing the oil of the gearbox, the discharge of dirty oil and cleaning agent should be at the bottom of the box seat, and a drain hole should be opened from the low position of the oil tank; Normally, the oil drain hole can be plugged with a screw plug, and an anti oil leakage gasket should be added between the oil drain plug and the joint surface of the box.
7. Ventilation cap
When the gearbox is working, the temperature inside the box rises, the gas expands, and the pressure increases. In order to allow the hot expansion air inside the box to be freely discharged to maintain pressure balance inside and outside the box, and to prevent lubricating oil from leaking along the partition surface or other gaps such as shaft seals, a ventilator is usually installed at the top of the box.
