When assembling the electric drum, it is not only necessary to assemble it in the correct way, but also according to the requirements of the equipment, so as to improve the assembly quality and work efficiency of the equipment. So what are the assembly requirements for this device?
1、 There are generally two ways to fix the bearings of an electric drum. One method is to press the bearing shell with the box cover, and the box cover needs to receive the force on the bearing; Another type is that the lower box is equipped with a bearing cover, which can bear all the forces borne by the bearings, making the cover thinner and easier to maintain and seal.
2、 The box shall be planned so that the lubricating oil can be discharged quickly to minimize the generation of oil foam. There should be a satisfactory axial spacing between the bearing and the oil seal, and there should be a large oil return channel to dredge the bearing oil leakage and prevent the lubricating oil or foam from leaking out through the shaft seal.
3、 General requirements:
The layout of the box should be able to avoid harmful deformation caused by temperature gradients inside the box during transition and steady-state operation.
2. Use two locating pins to make the contact surface between the box and the base as close as possible to the lower part of the small gear shaft, in order to reduce the changes in the high-speed shaft caused by thermal deformation.
3. The electric drum box cover should have a survey hole with a width of at least half the tooth width.
4. Install oil passages inside the box as much as possible. It is recommended to use steel pipe welding, flange connection, and support for internal oil pipes.
5. Do not use gaskets on the subdivision surface of the box or between the end cap and the box.
Usually, filters and ventilation caps should be provided. When the working temperature is high, in order to prevent oil and gas from escaping, a certain height of ventilation cap should be added above the box.
7. Unless requested by the buyer, the interior of the electric drum box is generally not painted.
8. The direction of the temperature measurement sensor should be as close as possible to the bearing part of the bearing. When measuring shaft vibration, the arrangement of vibration measurement probes with devices should be considered for the bearing seat.
So when you assemble the electric drum, you must install it according to its requirements, so that the installation quality will be more guaranteed. At the same time, regular maintenance is necessary to maintain a good working condition for a long time.
