The gearbox matches the speed and transmits torque between the prime mover and the operating machine or actuator. It is a relatively accurate machine designed to reduce speed and increase torque. According to different transmission stages, it can be divided into single-stage and multi-stage reducers; According to the shape of gears in the gear factory, they can be divided into cylindrical gears, bevel gears, and cone cylindrical gear lead reducers. It is an independent component composed of gear transmission, worm drive, and gear worm drive, enclosed in a rigid housing, usually used as a reduction transmission device between the driving part and the working machinery. Function, it matches the speed and transmits torque between the prime mover and the working machine or actuator, widely used in modern machinery.
1、 Installation method
The correct installation, use, and maintenance of reducers are important steps in ensuring the normal operation of mechanical equipment. Therefore, during installation, please carefully assemble and use according to the following installation and usage related matters.
The first step is to confirm the integrity of the motor and reducer before installation, and strictly check whether the dimensions of all parts connected to the machine match. This includes the dimensions and matching tolerances of the motor's positioning boss, input shaft, and reducer groove.
The second step is to loosen the screws on the dust hole on the outer side of the reducer flange, adjust the clamping ring to align its side hole with the dust hole, and insert it into the hexagonal socket screw for tightening. Afterwards, remove the motor shaft key.
The three steps are to naturally connect the motor to the reducer. When connecting, the concentricity between the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor needs to be consistent, and their outer flanges should be parallel. If the concentricity is not consistent, the high-speed shaft of the gearbox will break or the gearbox gears will wear out.
II development trend
Cylindrical gears in reducers are generally carburized, quenched, and ground, increasing their load-bearing capacity by more than 4 times. They have the characteristics of small size, light weight, low noise, high efficiency, and high reliability. The basic parameters adopt priority numbering, the size specifications are neat, the parts have strong universality and interchangeability, and the series is easy to expand and update, which is conducive to organizing large-scale production and reducing costs. Diverse types and designs. The reducer abandons the traditional single base installation method and adds different types such as hollow shaft suspension, floating support base, integrated connection between motor and reducer, multi-directional installation surface, etc.
