Gear reducers are mainly composed of transmission components, shafts, bearings, housings, and their accessories. Its basic structure consists of a box, gears, shafts, bearings, and accessories. After the gear reducer is installed in place, the accuracy of the installation direction, the reliability of pressing down each fastener, and the flexible rotation after installation should be fully checked. What parts are used to make the gear of the reducer?
1. The casing is an important component of the gearbox, and it is the foundation of the transmission parts. It should have sufficient strength and stiffness, so machinery is usually made of gray cast iron. For reducers under heavy or impact loads, ductile iron or cast steel casings can also be used.
2. The combination of gears, shafts, and bearings is used to withstand radial loads and small axial loads. When the axial load of the reducer is large, a combination structure is adopted, which is composed of angular contact ball bearings, tapered roller bearings or deep groove ball bearings and thrust bearings.
3.To ensure the normal operation of the reducer, in addition to paying full attention to the structural design of the gear, shaft, bearing combination, and housing, the reasonable selection and design of auxiliary components such as oil filling, draining, oil level inspection, accurate positioning of the cover and seat should also be considered during processing, disassembly, maintenance, and lifting.
A reducer is an independent component consisting of a gear transmission device, a worm transmission device, and a gear worm transmission device. It is enclosed in a rigid housing and is usually used as a reduction transmission device between the prime mover and the working machinery. It matches the speed and transmits torque between the prime mover and the working machine or actuator, and has been widely used in modern machinery.
Generally used for low-speed, high torque transmission equipment, electric motors, internal combustion engines, or other high-speed operating power are reduced by meshing the small toothed gear on the input shaft of the reducer with the large gear on the output shaft. Ordinary reducers also have several pairs of gears with the same principle to achieve the desired reduction effect, and the gear ratio of the large and small gears is the transmission ratio.
