Generally speaking, working in a high-temperature environment can easily cause the equipment itself to overheat and reduce work efficiency due to environmental factors. At this time, if we want to improve its efficiency and fully utilize the performance of the gearbox, we need to increase its thermal power. In this case, we can increase its heat dissipation by cooling the gearbox system and circulating lubricating oil. Today, the editor has specially compiled relevant materials. Next, let's explore three methods for cooling reducers together.
(1) Lubricating oil circulation heat dissipation: A water or air cooling device is installed outside the reducer to cool the lubricating oil inside, and the cooled lubricating oil returns to the machine for lubrication. This cooling method is mainly used for cooling under high power or when the ambient temperature is high. Its advantages are good cooling effect and long service life of lubricating oil; The disadvantage is that increasing the number of control points has a certain probability of increasing accidents.
(2) Increase heat dissipation: If the general gearbox body cannot meet the heat dissipation requirements, heat dissipation ribs can be added outside the box, and the setting of heat dissipation ribs can enable natural circulation of air. The advantages of this method are simple structure, convenient installation, good heat dissipation effect, and easy serialization.
(3) System cooling: This method utilizes fan cooling, which is not only simple and easy to operate, but also very convenient. However, the drawback of fan cooling methods is that they may not be suitable in certain situations, such as when cooling gearboxes underground in coal mines. Using fans can seriously pollute the surrounding working environment and mechanical equipment. Therefore, the amount of heat that can be dissipated is also limited.
The above three cooling methods for reducers have all their advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, the editor reminds everyone here that when choosing a heat dissipation method, it is necessary to consider both economy and heat dissipation effect to choose the one that suits oneself.
